You can try with Analytics.

Just a heads up, Google updated it's analytics engine to use firebase in the third quarter of last year. When they did this, the "Analytics" app in the playstore is now unable to display stats for your android apps. You can still see your android apps stats from the analytics "web portal", but not in the android "analytics" app.

When I checked late last year, the google analytics team said they were working on it, but I don't think it's fixed yet.

Basically, the problem is that when you create a new "Analytics" project (to attach to your android app), you can not select just the project type of "App Only" because it auto-switches you to a "App + Web" analytics project type.

You can see almost same information in Firebase dashboard, including heat map and number of users in last 30 mins.
