Listview - color of item pressed

I'm possibly missing something - or don't have a full understanding - any help appreciated.

I have a Listview appearing just as I want it other than the color when an item is selected - state_pressed will apply a colour to the whole list.

Is there a way to set the colour of a row when pressed?

No, you can't do it with a ListView but you could do it with a ScrollView.

Why don't you forget about ListView and use custom panels for this task? You can process them whatever way you like? They'd be stored in a ScrollView and everything will be fine.
