Android Question Load high speed list

Hi
I have a 20 item that should be load layout contain imageview and label and button
i use ImageDownloader for download image and show it
But speed of load item with For is low
How can i load item quickly?

Yes,DoEvents increase speed a lot but maybe app force closed
