This app is meant for machinists, mechanics, construction workers, or anyone else that has the need to convert between fractions and decimal numbers as well as calculating drill sizes for various tap sizes.
This is an effort to test the app and get some feedback before it is released. tapping the Bkspc/Clear button backspaces once per tap, a long press will clear the calculator window.
Enter fraction values such as 3/8 or 7/8 etc, and the To Decimal key to convert those to decimal numbers. Use the To Fraction key to convert a decimal number to a fraction. Entering .375 and the tapping To Fraction will show 3/8 and so on.
The Drill size section will handle SAE, Metric, NPT, and BPT tap sizes and calculate the correct drill size to use for each. A brief set of instructions is in the top label of that page.
Since this is aimed at the U.S. market at this time, I'm afraid all of the drill sizes are in inch fractions except BPT for now. That will change before release.
