Managing projects

I need some kind of Concurrent Versions System in order to manage my projects. Actually I'm using tons of folders and this is not the way.

I've been reading about CVSs, but I think Subversion or Git are too complicated to do this. So, my question is... how are you managing your projects and their versions??

I Myself am pretty much doing the butt loads of folders option right now, using a main folder then sub folders for each iteration. However I do agree the amount of folders can get quite high.

For free users this service works only for 30 days...

I think should be a better way... If some of you have any idea, please share with us ;)
