How do I add hardware acceleration to the manifest? I added it as per manifest editor screen (SetApplicationAttribute) below and received error message
AndroidManifest.xml:16: error: No resource identifier found for attribute 'hardwareAccelerated' in package 'android'. I did also try reading related posts on this subject.
The reason I am trying to do this is that I am experiencing very slow vertical scrolling with webview on a Galaxy Ace using Android version 2.3.6 Gingerbread. I have read elsewhere that hardware acceleration can improve this.
