Android Question Monitoring cam with a delay

I need to monitoring the cam with a delay (5 to 10 sec). There is a way to do it simply ?

You can collect the preview frames (see CCTV for an example of working with the frames) and use a timer to show the old frames instead.

I don't understand if it works with video frames or only with photos (sorry for my english...)


That I want to do :

- Turn on the video cam of my device.

- doing something in front of the camera (jumping, running...)

- going to see the video on the screen that is displayed with a delay

It is possible ?

It is possible. It will not be true video. You will collect the preview frames (maybe 5 per second) and then show them with a delay.

I understand definitly nothing... How can I collect the preview Frames. In witch variables ? jpeg is not a bitmap variable... Do you think I can collect 20 frames per second ?
It must be to difficult for me..

Have you seen the CCTV example? You need to convert the preview data to a Bitmap and add it to a List.

Another idea: Just download the images of the cam by accessing it's folder. Where are the images stored? (local pc or external website?).
