I am just starting with Android apps though I'm an experienced programmer.
I am developing apps for in-house use with a mid-size (1800 person) manufacturing company. These are primarily for status and work order information to supervisors and certain employees. We have WiFi throughout the plant and will have information from various sources organized in a database with a server routing the information via web services. People will carry pocket sized and a few tablet sized android devices.
I am just curious if there are other users doing this type of development since I have found little information by Googling. Almost every manager here who hears of these projects come up with a need. This could be a high growth area!
