Newbe question on dim

I was wondering if I had a panel or label, do I need to dim them all of the time or just when they will be addressed in code? I mean if I have a label that is static that will never change, do I need to dim it? or does it take up resources if I dim them when they will never be accessed by code to change?

No need to Dim them if you dont use them in code.

I assume you mean if you are adding them through the designer? Then yes, you are correct. In essence, they get dim'ed automatically when you load the layout file.

yeah but do how much resources do they hold up or is it so small it doesn't matter?
