Android Question NFC Tag emulation

Hi There

I have a requirement to store a user ID in the app to be scanned by an NFC reader.
Our app, should behave no different than any other tag being scanned by the reader. So we need to emulate the tag ( for the ID part only, at the moment )

What is the best way to make the phone act as an NFC tag?
Any example code would be greatly appreciated!

Android does support it: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/nfc/hce.html
However it is not a simple feature to use. Currently there is no library that wraps this feature.
