Android Question NullPointerException - BA.switchObjectToInt

my customer report to me, some devices randomly facing this error.

I don't think that it happens in the code you posted. Can you post the code in Service1.Service_Start?

The problem is that StartingIntent.GetExtra("state") return Null. Add a check for it:

If StartingIntent.GetExtra("state") <> Null Then
 Select ...
