Android Question Number keypad fills screen

I have developing an app as a means of learning B4A, which I have been running on a 10.1" tablet. When i set a a layout to run on my Galaxy III the number keypad fills the whole screen.

There are three edittext fields wanting the user to enter some numbers unfortunately the number keypad that pops up and fills the whole screen. I know what to enter but no one else will.

How do I configure the size of the number keypad?

Is it in landscape mode?

Yes. In portrait the number keypad appears but you can still see the entry points. In landscape it shows the number pad plus a large entry screen that fills the rest of the display.

I will have a look at this tonight.
I have set the layout to run Portrait only for now.
