Output GPS to Microsoft MapPoint

Hi, i have created an app that outputs the phones GPS on bluetooth in a NMEA format. i can open hyperterminal and connect the Phone to the PC and see the Data stream.

when i use Mappoint the PC and Phone will not connect, it looks like the phone wants the PC to have the port open to receive and the PC wants the Phone to be transmitting so that it can receive (not sure if this last sentence makes sense). But basically the two devices will not connect because they are both expecting the other to have the port open receiving or transmitting.

is there a way for the phone to transmit on Bluetooth without having to connect so that the PC when the software starts will see the transmissions and lock on???

Bluetooth communication is only done between two connected devices.

I'm not familiar with MapPoint. However your B4A app can be both a client and a server. You just need to find the correct port / protocol that MapPoint expects.
