pc to pc network

In pocket -pc it is possible to connect two devices (or pc and device) using independent network.

I wish to have this capability with android device as well. It can be very useful in data transfers between devices, and two or more player games where no wi-fi network exist.

Android doesn't support Ad-Hoc networks (without rooting the device). So I'm afraid it is not possible.

If the devices are not too far from each other you can use Bluetooth instead.
