Android Question Prevent uninstall of application

Hi again,

We do backups of data to server and everything by the book, but it's still a hustle when a customer "accidently" uninstall our program.

So I wonder if there is any way to prevent or at least warn a user then they uninstall the program in the Settings->Apps->Uninstall Screen.

Yes, me to, but how is it possible for the pre-installed shitty apps to be almost impossible to uninstall?

Preload apps use to be added by operators who write the ROM.

I don't think that there is any library that wraps this API.

I just found a simple solution to the problem, save a copy of all files in to a public folder in Activity_Pause. Then if its a "new" installation, check if they exists and the other files don't exists and copy it back.

Nah, it did not work so good. Have to continue searching.

Just use a rooted device, and copy the apk to the /system/app/ folder

Not possible to root all devices that uses our app.
