Publishing B4A Apps 101

Hello,

Only assuming I have a B4A app working in my emulator and have never published an Android application...

What are the steps to publish a B4A so I and others can download and use it on their Android compatible devices?

I scoured the documentation but am still not clear on how to do this. I have heard you must register your app with Google etc. I'd like to think there has to be one document that comprehensively shows how to do these steps.

You have to have a Google account (Gmail), then, you have to pay $25 to create an Android Market account.

1. In the Google Android Console what file(s) of my application are required for the upload?

2. Do they need to be packaged in any way (zipped, special zip file extension etc.)?

You only need to upload the APK generated by B4A, you find this file in the OBJECTS folder.

You also need at least 2 screenshots of your app.
