Purchasing questions

Hi! Just getting started with the trial version and I'm loving it!:sign0060:

I will no doubt buy in soon, but I am debating how to go.

The basic version is $39 for 1 year. Enterprise is $99 for 2 years. As I understand it that is the only difference.

I am tempted to go basic to make sure I can handle it before going big! (not that $100 is big these days!). If I buy the basic license and 6 months down the road want to 'upgrade' will the 2 year Enterprise license be added onto my remaining 6 months?

Actually it is a bit strange that 2 Basic licenses cost $78 dollars and is cheaper than the Enterprise version. I presume that means that a serious price hike is foreseen in the future and paying the extra is an 'insurance policy'! :icon_clap:

Anyway ... just wondering ....

I believe the standard version only includes 2 months of updates, which makes the Enterprise version a steal.

And I don't know of any product that creates apps for Android that is less expensive.

heh, heh. .... I guess I can't read first thing in the morning! I read "two months" and somehow got 1 year out of it!! NOW the math makes sense! :signOops:

Having actively worked with B4A for a while, now, I highly
recommend going with the Enterprise version.

The constant stream of updates, upgrades, and new libraries
is nothing short of astonishing... and the forum support is,
far and away, the best I've ever seen -- timely, detailed,on
the mark; plus frequent, relevant, useful tutorials.

This is undoubtedly one of the biggest development bargains,
anywhere... I'd gladly pay three times the price.
