    Hi Erel,

just a little question... As I've seen on the documentation there are only functions to place a call, get number etc. - is there any way to get a call, play a sound file, record the incoming voice? I'm thinking about a local voicemailbox... saves costs to call an external one :)

    Thanks,
    Sven

You can't answer an incoming call with Phone library.

I've seen that in the documentation... I'm not sure if there is a way to have some access to the incoming and outgoing voice for voice synthesis or recording / speech recognition purposes.
Maybe a feature for the future?

    phone.dll

...so that means you can't write an app to, say, direct the phone to play a particular ringtone with Basic4ppc?

These are currently not possible. As far as I know there aren't standard native APIs that will allow these actions (both of them).

The sample you referred to (which is a nice sample) finds media files and copies them to the ringtones folder.
It doesn't assign the files to a specific event.
