toggle between VGA and QVGA can be done by code.(but it seams to be a big secret ;-)...I see this also in Pelles C, if you fill in high version value for the linker, he compiles the small 1/4 dimention, otherwise the screen is normal)
-Find and Rename a file, and using wildcards for find...
Development IDE: startup like you left it, format the code...
-Very importent : you can work on a file that you copied on several drives as spare work, so... The whole file-path on the window, so you can see on the spot with what file from what drive you are working.
By the way, it is a easy IDE to work with.
