search suggestions should be able to be opened in a new tab

The forum's search feature is powerful, but it may suggest multiple posts I'm interested in, clicking on anyone will go to it, and then I may forget other results or the search keywords.
Press the Enter key to open the search results page is the right way I guess. Curiously, the search icon appears to be non-clickable. In addition, search suggestions are not standard links and cannot be opened by the mouse middle button or the context menu to open in a new tab.

Use the search and open all threads you are interested in with STRG+Click (open in new Tab)...

I've never managed to get that working with the dropdown results. Do you mean you can actually do it?

I never used this one! I always press enter to see the search-results.

When i do a search i get a search-results page with links to the found threads.
On this link i do a STRG-Click to open the link in a new tab.
