Slow animation?

I'm using the Animation libary version 1.02, but I have noticed the Translate effect (to move views around) is slow. When I move three views at the same time, the animation on my quad core phone "jumps" instead of moving slowly. Am I missing something?

Can you post your code?
Animation has always been very smooth for me.
