SMS Intercept Message Before Sending

Ive been looking to see how to intercept a SMS send before it is actually gets sends, ive seen the interception of an incoming messages but nothing about getting the message before its actually sent?

Any help on this?

It is not possible to intercept outgoing messages. Android doesn't let you to do it.

ok is it possible then to create a service that can see the current message being written and modify it?

No. The message is sent directly from the sending app.
