Android Question [SOLVED] Exoplayer subtitles shadow

Hi im using this to add subtitles to exoplayer and workes great

now i want to add a shadow to the subtitles to make it visable on white sceneces
any idead how to do that? thanx

EDGE_TYPE_OUTLINE ? i tried to change the number but dosent do anything
also can i change the shadow size or color?

dosent work
in fact now that im testing erel code above on a solid white video the code dosent work at all
changing the 0 to 2 dosent add anything

The code dosent work
it dosent add any shadow
at first i thought it worked but then i tested it more and it dosent seems to add any kind of shadow
i tried to look into don link but no matter what i change still no shadow.
