Android Question Some places it says not to use %x and %y - why?

In some places it says not to use %x and %y.
It seems to that this is a reasonable way to design screens?
Is there a problem with b4a?

Because everything will look stretched.
You need to put in more thought on how the layout will scale.
For e.g. in more straight forward layouts you can scale the x while keeping heights of objects fixed.
