Suggestion to manage login persistence

I'd like to know the best method to create a login which, if the user wants to, save something (DirInternal ?) so the app grants access to user each time without asking details again.

I'm coding an app which relies in a website data (database) and the user is going to be able to upload photos, but the app doesn't use webviews, is independant from webpage.

Just save the active username, password, directory to a file. If it is present, use it, and delete it on logout.
