Text File cannot be seen in Windows

My app uses text files to store data. These files are then used to produce reports within Excel.

I can see them in the Android file explorer, I can move them around with the Android file explored and I can open them with the text editor within Android.

Trouble is, I can't see them in windows explorer at all. Even if I move them they are still invisible.

I've also tried F5 to refresh and still no dice. ??

Klaus,

I've moved them everywhere including the SD card.

There are other text files created by other unrelated applications that are visible to Windows, but not these for some reason.

It is creating them, that's not the problem, I just cant find them in windows.

Edit --- If I move the file about it eventualy becomes visible to Windows

Edit2 -- Is this a Media Transfer mode problem? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S2 using Kies driver to connect.

Erel,

Many thanks for the assistance with this.

Will I have to declare the intent in the manifest file?

Stu.
