"There are no matches in Android Market for the search b4a bridge"

I've borrowed an HTC Wildfire for b4a testing, but have hit a brick wall at the first step. When I try to install b4a bridge I'm told it's not there.

Searching for "wildfire" here, it's clear that others are using this phone successfully. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Just search for B4A Bridge in Google Play Store.

I don't think it is in amazon app store, try google play store.

Please note that there are many devices not having the playStore in their ROMs. I would suggest placing b4a-bridge in b4a's distribution setup file. It's a very valuable tool, since, again, not all devices are coming with suitable adb driver.

When I tried that I got the message "You don't have any devices." Googling this shows that I am not alone in this, and gives lots of advice, none of which has worked so far.

I'll keep soldiering on... Sometimes I wonder why everything is so difficult.
