Regarding this warning, I'd say raise it to 3 months.

Just because I don't update my project thread everyday, it doesn't mean I'm not working on it.

Just because I don't update my project thread everyday, it doesn't mean I'm not working on it.

The purpose of this warning is to encourage members to start new threads instead of posting questions in existing threads.
There are many cases where it does make sense to post in the existing threads. Just check the checkbox and make the post. Nothing bad happens.
