Trouble Updating APP to Store

I wrote with B4A an app called VTC-Remote. It was submitted (and accepted) into the store. This was a year ago and the package name was VTC-Remote. Now, I've updated it and am trying to submit it and keep getting the message...
The upgraded apk's package name (com.garymiyakawa.vtc_remote) must be the same as the one it is replacing (com.garymiyakawa.VTC_Remote).

I'm not able to change the package name in B4A back to the original capital letters. I really don't what to resubmit the whole thing, I just want to update it.

The lower case "vtc-remote" is all over the file system....

I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks,

Gary M

The package name should be all lowercase according to java convention. After V1.8 of B4A it became mandatory in the IDE.

You can - however - change the package name manually by opening your project file (projectName.b4a) in a text editor and changing the "package=" line (line #6 usually).

Thanks for the quick reply!

Yep, that fixed it.

This might be important for some of the early developers !

Cheers,
