Android Question Update will remove scheduled service?

Hi! Meanwhile i'm developing my new app, i though a little thing. If i have scheduled service, and i update the app, this service will be destroy? I mean an update without open the app, only download of new version from play store.

Based on the answer here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions...mmanagers-continue-to-run-after-an-app-update and there is a reference to the relevant Android source code, the scheduled service should be kept.

Worth testing it.
