I have been checking the code in the forum for File Managers / File Explorers and what I found is quite old. For example this one was posted in 2012:

Anyone can download from the App store, File Explorers that work great, but they normally have adds…

Could anyone post the source code of a basic File Manager that could explorer the files of the internal memory and also the files of the SD card?

This code would also be a great source for learning B4A

If you want to allow the user to select a file then use ContentChooser. It is very simple to use and works great.

If you want to allow the user to select a file then ContentChooser is the correct way to do it.
