Upgrading an app - how?

A silly question, I'm sure, but how does one upgrade an app on the Market? Google's instructions tell me to 'go to the app and select Upgrade' - but that option doesn't seem to be available - no button or link to do it anyway! And their on-line 'Help' doesn't!

The only thing you need to do to upgrade your app is to upload the new APK, you can do from the Developer's Console.

Well yes, that's what I thought - which is why the advice on the Console to go to the app and select Upgrade made no sense to me.

I'll try again and see what happens this time...

Tried it again and got the same response; finally went to the app's own page and uploaded the upgrade from there, and no problems. There's certainly no 'upgrade' option which the Google documentation suggests ought to exist.

Still, live and learn!
