I use a Motorola Razr device. When I first connect it via USB to a PC running Windows XP, I can transfer files back and forth between the PC and device at will. However, if I stop for a few minutes while the device is still connected and the screen is still on and try again to copy files back and forth, the transfer hangs up and all I see is the hourglass on the PC. The PC does not see the device or files, unless I disconnect the USB cable from the device and reconnect it. My device is set to transfer via USB and the screen is set to stay awake and does not sleep. Has anyone experienced this behavior on their devices?
