Virtual keyboard doesn't show up in landscape.

Hi. I have a scrollview with several edittexts on it and when I click one in portrait mode in the emulator, the virtual keyboard slides up from the bottom and pushes up the scrollview if needed. I haven't done anything to make this happen, but it is good. BUT in landscape mode, the keyboard doesn't show up. At 480 x 320, a short white band shows up along the bottom instead. And at 800 x 480, I see nothing happening. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is most probably an emulator issue. The emulator is probably configured with a (supposedly) hardware keyboard.

Has nobody else had this happen? I still can't figure it out - went through all the keyboard settings in the emulator.

It's a problem in the Emulator, I have the same problem.
Depending on what Emulator you have defined you have either a keyboard in the Emulator or you can use the computers' keyboard.
