WCF web services

I am developing a WCF web service that will be hosted on the internet. Is there a library/module for Basic4Android that will allow me to develop an app to send requests to this service and deal with the replies?

Http and HttpUtils allow you to call any web service. You will need to parse the result with XmlSax library.

Because my planned Android app needs to work with a hosted WCF web service I must make sure the development tool I choose is going to be able to cope and be easy to use.

I hav read through the thread on the HttpUtils, but am wondering whether you have a sample set of code that would describe how a request would be made to a WCF web service and then how the response would be managed?

Calling a WCF web service is not different than calling any other web service.
It will require some additional work as you will need to create the XML request and parse the result.
