I guess all of you experienced such a graph ... is the crocodile teeth and is not by mistake named this way ... it cuts through your brain
as you do not understand how could you make such performance getting 10 users in 6 month ...and actually half represents you, your wife and family :rolleyes:


How stupid to show everyone that you developed an app with such a performance ...
Seeing every day life only success stories made me think more about how life really is ...
I have only read about 200k users and above ... x00 $ a day

I have read many times users that say ..oH I will not publish lanterna app ...
He guys what you are waiting for ...
as described above in post 7 ..you may wait 7 years ... to get that brilliant idea and then find out that you did not brought any interest in users downloading your app

One friend told me he wont make any child until he will not have his own house ....
child are not asking for any papers that will tell you are the owner of the house ...they only ask for love ..at least at first ages

Hey @hookshy, I have the courage to show anything, I'll even enlarge it for you, unlike the other small ones one here ;)

I was getting a nice steady climb of users for an app of mine when suddenly I started to get users un-installing my app. My sudden drop of at the beginning of November was due to the fact that I added an XML feed to my app. Basically adding the XML feed it caused a thread exception on Samsung phones only, that screen shot is in one of my previous posts from last week. I managed to fix the issue, but as you can clearly see, the users have not come back to me as yet :mad:

I guess you are a small baby , I wont be worried about these small drops like yours here ....
take a look at this screen shot ... from 3 month I am not seeing any positive slope al though the app got better each day...

Nope @hookshy, I'm a BIG BABY, baby :). Depression, erm nope...

Seriously though, I know exactly why I had a small drop and bad feedback, and I knew exactly what to do to fix the issues so it wasn't that difficult. Most users have changed their feedback now, so I'm happy.

The question is, do you know why you've got the curve downwards, is it something that you can rectify easily?

All I did was added an XML feed to my app and all hell broke loose.

I added the feed and I really should have added DisableStrictMode to help with NetworkOnMainThread EXCEPTION that I get with Samsung devices. I previously knew about this issue as I've had it with another app that I created that uses JSON feeds. In my experience this issues mainly happens on Samsung phones.

To fix my mainly Samsung crashing issues after adding the feeds, all I had to do was to DisableStrictMode on starting the app. All is working again now, but by that time the complaints had already started to poor in.

Look at the screen shot below and read the users comments @LucaMs. You will see that all the devices that are effected are all Samsung. I tested my update on Nexuses, Acer, HTCs and Arcos devices, all worked absolutely fine. So a couple of days ago After having my issues with Samsung devices yet again, I've decided to purchase a Galaxy S4 for testing my apps on, this includes themes. All my main devices are Nexuses...
