Android Question WebView, about blank

I solved changing the background color of my activity to white,
but when you have a WebView "empty", each time you rotate your device, you can see a bad effect:
a white rectangle.

If there is a way to avoid this...

What are you loading to the WebView?

a HTML string, but it downloads an image from Internet.

You can download the image with HttpUtils2 and then load it immediately each time.

Well, as I wrote I solved using a white background.

I can not use httpUtils2, probably, in this case.
