B4J Question what is the memory requirement for B4J 6.01

I have setup a Hyper-V running Windows 7 with 4Gb Ram

Trying dbUtils sample
Open Project
Goto Designer "System.OutOfMemoryException" was thrown

So I tried
Open B4J > Save as TEST
Goto Designer & seems on

Tried several other ie. Bluetooth Serial Chat example - same out of memory!

Thought I was low on memory so up the Ram to 6Gb - still get errors

It doesn't sound like a real memory problem. Is it possible that you are trying to open FXML layouts with the internal designer?

Does it happen with newer examples?

Yes...

The other option opens the file in Notepad!

You should use Scene Builder to open the old FXML layouts. However I recommend you to just create new layouts instead.

I tried creating a new form based on controls in Process globals and Complied jar using corrupt layout...

Once compiled I see screen briefly then closes!
