why dialogs pause the service

Hi,

Dialogs including msgbox pause any running service till user close the dialog !

i'm using service to stream data and i need to show some dialogs without any packet losses

Message boxes are modal, which means. will interrupt the app execution, you will have to create non-modal message boxes, take a look at THIS class.

Now, this is an info I had never seen before, and I am sure this is due to I am a bit lazy with manuals, sometimes. Even though I should had suspected it from their modality nature.
Thank you kZero, this will get me change all modal dialogs I use in some of my apps! Fortunately, they are not many, since already replaced with customized panels.

i know that msgbox are modal but i was think it will not interrupt the background service
