Update:
I've actually discovered the real source of the problem: It's definitely my GPU. I figured it out via changing the 3D settings in the NVIDIA control panel to "High-performance NVIDIA processor", which resulted in my issue happening. Changing it to "auto-select" actually fixes the problem!
