App for a Tea Party Group

Hi Everyone.
First, I'm a newbe about all of this Android programming.
What led me here was the fact that I had a little experience
making crude VB5 programs, but frankly ..I suck as a programmer.
I am studying the possibility of making a simple Android App
for a somewhat controversial Tea party group on the Freedomworks
network and thought I could ask for some suggestions and ideas.
I would try to hire someone, but I'm on a shoestring budget and
don't want to try to get something for nothing.


Right now, I'm trying to figure out exactly what features would
be of value on a smart phone besides just telling the
mission statementand a gp3 video.
How do I enlist members (has to be done on Freedomworks)
or lead them to an instruction page?
Any advice or help is very much appreciated.

Thank you for replying.
I am still checking out the trial version of B4A and looking through some of the docs.
Kinda refreshes my memory on what I managed to learn from VB5. (not exactly a lot)
I will temporarily add my email on my profile later tonight, for 1-2 days.
(on AIM) will that be ok ?

ooOops, ..I checked accept email from other members,
but I had to purchase b4A (I did) ..before I could access email setup.
