Beja Expert Licensed User Longtime User Dec 29, 2012 #3 Damn right! you know tboy, Erel solved a big problem for people like myself.. I only know Basic since it was BASIC. the other language I had experience with was the Zilog Z80 machine code ((not even assembler).. and I am old enough not to start learning new languages like java and stuff!!!) I used Eprom programmer to burn my code into EPROMs and then place them in sockets, in a PCB that I made by hand (drawing, etching, ferric chloride, drilling, soldering...etc. From there I jumped to BASIC.. so I only knew the topmost high level, and the down dirt of the silicon chip. of course attended C++ class (they gave it to us!).. but (they didn't give us java) Erel filled the gap for us.. and finally I found a playground in the middle.
