Has anyone tried this? If yes is it reliable? I do not know if with my limited java knowledge I am completely able to implement this but it would be nice if someone could create a library which will implement it.

I see this was not a pretty live crowded thread so I decided to help it a bit:
Quonversion provides back end validation for In App Purchases made with Storekit in AppStore or GooglePlayBilling client in Play Store.

It looks pretty interesting.
