I've purchased a couple of the source code projects from this company and I had to say openly on the forum that they are first class.

Not only is the source code quality but the level of free support is the best I have come across in 40 years of working in IT (Not working now, retired :) )

I'm now running a small country pub so a lot of the software isn't of use to me but I still enjoy programming to keep the old grey cells active and purchasing their cheap source code is a brilliant way to learn.

Keep up the good work Saif, I look forward to seeing what you produce in the future, and many thanks for your excellent customer support, highly recommended

It's not in Birmingham, although my daughter still lives there, we're just outside of Shrewsbury, Dog In The Lane
Very high average customer rating/reviews, that's impressive. Yes, that looks like a really nice place to visit Colin.

Shrewsbury is not too far away, just past Telford. My partner and myself travel much further than that for mean, but not lately for obvious reasons.

Hey Colin, hmm, is that, is that, is that Richard Madeley I see in your quaint country pub (claim to fame)?

I like the caricatures, an interesting place to have them too ;)

We've decided to have a meal their one day on one of our Sunday drives out.

You drew all those caricatures, they are excellent, it's appears that you're multi talented. Software developer, artist, successful business owner, your talents appears to be never ending.

I do have one question though, how did you get into that sort of business, that's not a simple business to run?

I've known a couple of people that ran pubs in good old Brum town, long long long working hours and one of those pubs was constantly busy.

if youre planning to see us make sure you book as we do get very full especially on Sundays
Yes we are, your reviews are high enough that your public house warrants a visit ;)

Joanne loves long drives out now and again, we've found plenty of nice establishments to have great meals just by doing that. I for one always leave Google reviews on locations where we have a meal.

BTW
the level of free support is the best I have come across in 40 years of working in IT
Giving great support is extremely simple when you're relatively new to the game. The key to longevity in this business is to still be giving that exact same level of high support 18 years later. Let's say starting from 1st December 2003 up to today and far into the future.

The company that makes what b4xcode.com possible to do what they do have been giving great second to none support since its inception date

Just had enough of IT at the time, and my age seemed to be a factor, firms like the youngsters :) My wife was an accountant and we both decided it was time for a change, so 15 years ago we bought a pub, yes lots of hard work but since the Pandemic, we've made the pub smaller and putting in fewer hours, so we have a bit of us time.

I was a MUMPS / MSM/ 3GL support/programmer working with IBM AIX and HP UX, big corporate companies across the world, but across the years I've had various incarnations, starting out as an Engineer in Hydraulics, Full-time artist (regular spots on TV), Social Worker, Teacher, IT Consultant / Support / Programmer mainly in the Healthcare, Finance and Oil sectors and now retired as a Publican.

I still code mainly to keep my brain active, once B4X came on the scene I've been using B4A and B4J to create small apps for the pub or if any of the locals ask. I have lost the knack of coding but when you see some of the things you can achieve with B4X it brings the spark back, and as I said purchasing the source code from Saif has been a very good experience, he put hours in to get my project up and running absolutely first class service, Highly recommend his company even if it's just using his code for a training exercise.

Take care everyone, hopefully, the world will return to normal shortly and work will pour in for the developers of the future, big thanks to Erel and all the other contributors of B4X

Hi Saif,

Colin's words and testimony, I think is the best that you may have had ever read and felt about your wonderful contribution, especially to B4X community.

I suggest you ask Colin to name an application that he has been dreaming of and offer it as a thankfulness gesture.
