Back Button

New Forum works pretty well, but I have some issues with the Back Button. It must use methods like many JavaScript libraries do lately of capturing the Back button and History and handling it on its own. It does a poor job of it though and makes it more difficult to get back to pages. Often times it seems to remember scroll positions (Not href targets, but positions on the page scrolled to) and hitting back just jumps all over the page. Or it will just sit there like it has no clue where to go. I usually end up clicking Forums or the thread location in the top history arrows to go where I want because it is faster to just reload the forum than try to go back to the previous page.

Hi Roger,

what Browser are you using? I'm using Chrome and I have no problem what so ever.

Same browser here. In fact when clicking the link to go to this thread in the forum it jumps to your post/the last post...which is fine. Pressing the back button before doing anything goes to the quick reply area at the bottom of the page instead of back. I decided to make use of it and started typing then hit back one more time even after I typed this and it finally went back...coming back in the thread actually saved all I had typed but the period after "back" but still takes at least 2 presses and a wait to return to the thread list, so I'm guessing there is some extra stuff going on. The pages never seem to finish loading all the social media and ad stuff at the bottom too that is mostly blocked.
