Comparative Power of Today's Smartphone

As part of the marketing of my App I want to compare the power of today's smartphone with computers of the past to give an indication of what the user actually holds in his hand and why he should use my App to help him manage better.

Can anyone help me give approx comparative values, in terms of processing power and memory/storage, of today's smartphone (let use the Galaxy S4 as an example) with the following:
  • The equivalent year model PC: So when did the market have a PC that had similar specs to the S4?
  • How many PC would have the equivalent power to the S4 in the year 2000, and in 1990?
  • What size room or building would be required to house a computer with the power of the S4 in 1980?

There are a number of units you can use to do the comparison. I think so far we have used gigaglops and teraflops, so you can find equivalency.
Some things are not a fair comparison (silicon technology, device size, architecture) , but well anyway.
You may want to add power figures too, that is major. A smartphone taking up power in a few watts versus a computer took the power of a whole city.
