explorer crashes when creating new thread

I often have issues with explorer crashing when writing a new thread or replying to an existing one.
Any idea what I can do about this?

Which version of explorer are you using?

Explorer 10 on Windows 7

I had IE 10 on W7 64 and no problems, now I'm running IE 11, no issues.
