Google Calendar app does not navigate anymore

we organize our Events using Google Calendar.

We usually use the Navigate Button (the "Navigation" Symbol) in the Calendar App. In the past it opens google maps navigation based on the Address in the Event.

NOW the Calendar App does not open Google Maps anymore. Instead the System Dialer App is called and the POST CODE (part of the Address) is used in the Dialer to dial this number

Interestingly it is just cripping out the post code.
Seems it is now parsing the Address to find a Telefonnumber and if found call the Dialer.

How can i revert it back so that Google Maps Navigation is called again?

Anyone with the same problem?

Just tested it (same behaviour) because of the format of the address. Must be: street, house number, zip code, city and country. Edit one of the addresses and let Google show which it recognizes ("Orte in der Nähe" in German). Then you see the accepted format and also a small map in lyour calendar. After you save it, everything works again.

It was working for the last few years without a problem.

I also checked some events and their Address format it it differ in some way. They do not. It is using the same format as we are using since years.

I also checked the Google Calendar app on another device (one person who have access to the same Event).

On his phone it is working as expected. But not on the Device of my boss and even not on my device.

Google is sometimes an as*****. I'm running Android 10. Probably they changed something without letting the users know. As I've said. I edited the address and it worked again. Not nice.
