But also the example given here https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/marqueeview.67627/ let the App crash immediateley. Is there some hint or am i missing something ?

DonManfred Expert Licensed User Longtime User Feb 27, 2025 #2 I do not have the source any longer. Had a HDD Crash in 2016. I can´t say about anything if you do not provide an full stacktrace. Even then i´m probably unable to solve anything in the lib. Probably worth not to use the library any longer. Upvote 0

Seems so, there are other ways to realize a Marquee/Ticker. btw: total lost of Data (you had a hard drive crash if i remember right) is always the absolute SuperGAU for every developer (had this,too) Nowadays we can backup everything to the cloud, but in further times not available/practicable Upvote 0
