Kickstarter - Crowdfund your projects

I just read about Kickstarter recently on gizmodo

You get an idea for a project, and throw in the idea with a video/demo at kickstarter and the community funds your project if they like it.

It looks like a good idea for start ups/new companies and if you have an idea that requires a bit more funding than you can afford.

Interesting, I wonder if I could get some funding to design my own "Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator"

People sometimes fund crazy ideas, if they are crazy enough
